Thursday April 25,2019 Jeff Sorensen of Malabar went on a day fishing with Captain Jay Senne aboard the FISH MASTER out of Sebastian Inlet and caught what turned out to be a catch of a lifetime. After catching a couple nice 20 pounders earlier in the day, Captain Jay decided to take a gamble and move for 30 min North with the current of Gulfstream to unfished waters roughly 18-20 miles. After getting our gear deployed it wasn’t 20 min later when the massive Bull Dolphin assaulted our spread. After a long dropback Jeff did the old Bill Dance hookset and it was on. After battling weeds on the fishing line and passing through the weed line we were able to get our long gaff in the Dolphin and the rest is history. A personal best and FISH MASTER record. What a trophy and Jeff is having it mounted too. Great job Jeff hope to see you again soon.
